COBA & the Business Community

The Center for Business and Economic Development, located in Glass Hall 113, is home to both the Small Business Development Center and the Management Development Institute.  The Small Business Development Center is a nonprofit entity that provides consultation and seminar training for potential and existing small businesses in 19 Southwest Missouri counties.  The Management Development Institute offers a wide range of seminars in order to assist managers and supervisors with developing tools, techniques, and strategies that will motivate people, solve problems, and keep worker performance and work quality at high levels.
