David D. Glass Hall

The College of Business
Administration is housed in David D. Glass Hall.
Glass Hall symbolizes our emergence as one of the premier business schools
in the Midwest, and demonstrates the University's continuing commitment to
provide our students, faculty and staff with the latest technology.
From its eight computer labs and satellite communications capabilities to
specialized classrooms and quiet study places for students, Glass Hall is
truly state-of-the-art. Financial contributions from many successful Missouri State
business graduates and a significant appropriation from the Missouri General
Assembly made this dream a reality. David D. Glass, Owner, Kansas City
Royals Professional Baseball Team, former Chief Executive Officer of
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and a 1960 Missouri State alumnus, showed his long-time
commitment to the University with a major gift to help fund the College of
Business Administration building. Because of that commitment and support,
the Missouri State Board of Governors named the facility in his honor.
Designed to capture the imagination of the future, Glass Hall provides
students with access to one of the most comprehensive computer facilities in
the Midwest. We have eight microcomputer facilities, our IBM AS/400
computing system, the Missouri State mainframe computer, telecommunications equipment
and several classrooms to serve specific educational needs, and provide
students with the latest technology to enhance their classroom experiences.
Students need quiet places to prepare for exams, review notes with a
classmate, research a term project, or simply relax, and Glass Hall has
those quiet, comfortable places.
